It's Simple, When
Considering The Total Time
It Takes To Clean Any Pool
Ninety
percent (90%) of the time, a Pool Blaster
will clean even a large pool, far faster
than any automatic pool cleaner can.
This is so, because the time it takes to
clean a pool is not simply limited to
the actual time the cleaner is in the
water, but often as much as an eight (8)
step process. The Total Time
includes (1) Removing the cleaner from
storage; (2) Setting it up, by attaching
power cords or installation of hoses;
(3) Placing the unit in the water; (4)
Warm up time if any; (5) The Actual
Cleaning Cycle; (6) Cooling off time, if
any; (7) Removing the unit from the
pool; and, (8) Returning the cleaner to
storage.
Suction-side and Pressure-side cleaners
must be installed by connecting the
cleaner to the hose and the hose to the
suction or return line, connected to the
main filter pump or a booster pump.
This time can be saved by leaving a
Kreepy Krauly or Polaris in the pool,
all the time. The disadvantages of
this are two-fold: (1) Many who enjoy
the beauty of their pool do not want an
ugly cleaner and bulky hoses to be in
the way; and. (2) Having the cleaner
always attached reduces the efficiency
and adds wear and tear to the main
filtering system, and uses an enormous
amount of energy.
Robotic cleaner do not generally require
any installation, but they are much
larger and bulkier and storage time is a
factor. They still need to be connected
to a power outlet, and the
manufacturer's recommend a cool down
period before removing the unit from the
pool.
A
lightweight Pool Blaster requires no
set-up or cool down periods and can be
stored in any convenient place, quickly
and easily. However, the greatest time
savings is in The Actual Cleaning
Cycle.
Automatic pool cleaners do not
necessarily clean faster than the
traditional manual method; they clean
automatically, saving effort and the
actual cleaning time of the pool owner
during the cleaning cycle. However, they
clean huge expanses of the pool, most of
the floor and some of the walls, and
sometimes portions of the steps.
(but not the corners, in and around
ladders, and only pass over clogged
drains). In other words, they cover
portions of the pool that might not even
be dirty!
No pool cleaner is designed to clean a
neglected pool. Every manufacturer
recommends the pool owner first manually
clean the pool, and start with a
relatively clean pool. Pool cleaners
best maintain the cleanliness of
a pool, preventing build up of leaves,
dirt and algae.
In
reality, leaves, dirt and algae collect
in only certain areas of the pool ...
leaves on the surface until sinking, and
everything in the corners, creases and
crevices, on the steps and around
obstructions like ladders, or at the
entrance to the main drain or skimmers.

Except in
a totally-neglected pool, that cannot be
effectively cleaned with a pool cleaner,
leaves, dirt and algae
tend to collect in only a small portion
of the pool. Automatic pool cleaners
don't know the difference, and
spend more time and effort cleaning
areas that do not need to be cleaned.
With a
Pool Blaster, you clean ONLY THE DIRTY
AREAS! And often the dirtiest areas
are routinely missed by the automatic
pool cleaners. Fast and Efficient is
synonymous with "Pool Blaster."
